About the Speakers

Simone Novello is the Founder and Managing Director of Partner2GROW and is considered Australia’s foremost strategic partnership authority. Simone has formed alliances worth hundreds of millions of dollars with leading brands including American Express, Commonwealth Bank and Virgin Australia.

Kate Carnell has been the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman since March 2016. As well as running her own small business for 15 years, Kate has also served as CEO for the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, beyondblue, the Australian Food and Grocery Council, the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) and the National Association of Forest Industries (NAFI).

Janine Zappini is the Founder & CEO of Simply Raw, a health food brand established in 2011. As an entrepreneur, she recognised a significant gap in the market for quality health snacks, and also learnt a lot about managing partnerships with enterprises along the way.

Geoff Roberson is Principal of Stacks Champion and has over 40 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and litigator. He has been involved with not only protecting but also defending many clients in strategic partnerships. Geoff was also the Founding Chair of Western Sydney University’s major commercial entity, UWS Connect, from which he has many examples of businesses of all sizes working together to achieve mutual success.
